伊拉克商場大火61死！剛開幕「整棟燒燬」14焦屍難辨　疑冷氣爆炸

伊拉克瓦西特省庫特市（Kut）一間6層樓購物中心Corniche Hypermarket Mall開幕僅5天，16日深夜驚傳嚴重火警，熊熊烈火從1樓開始延燒，迅速吞噬整棟建築，造成至少61人喪生，其中包括14具身分不明的焦屍。起火原因仍在調查中，但有生還者稱是冷氣機爆炸引起。

根據《每日郵報》，伊拉克內政部聲明證實，「這場悲劇性火災奪走61名無辜民衆性命，其中多數是在廁所內窒息而死。」民防隊從這棟包含餐廳與超市的商場救出逾45名受困民衆，直到凌晨4點仍有救護車陸續將傷者送醫，醫院病房擠滿患者。

社羣媒體流傳的影片顯示，火災當時有許多民衆受困屋頂等待救援，整棟建築被火焰與濃煙吞沒。50多歲醫師納西爾（Nasir al-Quraishi）痛失5名家人，他們因家中停電到商場吃晚餐，未料遇上死劫，「2樓一臺冷氣機爆炸，然後就起火了，我們無法逃脫。」

省長馬亞希（Mohammed al-Mayahi）已宣佈爲期3天的哀悼期，並稱將對商場業主及建築承包商提起訴訟。他強調，「這場悲劇是重大沖擊，需要認真檢視所有安全措施。」
