Changan Automobile Launches 'Beidou Tianshu 2.0' Intelligent Strategy

TMTPOST -- Changan Automobile unveiled its intelligent strategy, the "Beidou Tianshu 2.0" plan, with the Deep Blue Auto full-scenario intelligent driving solution as an integral part of it.

Building upon the foundation laid by "Beidou Tianshu 1.0," which emphasized intelligent transformation, Changan has spent the past seven years evolving into a technology-driven automaker. The new "2.0" phase focuses on AI-enhanced decision-making, real-time data processing, and the seamless integration of autonomous features.

As AI technology providers like Huawei and DeepSeek accelerate their integration with automakers, the time has come for smart driving technology to transition from "feature stacking" to "universal adoption."

The four major digital intelligence upgrade initiatives proposed in "Beidou Tianshu 2.0" (digital intelligence products, manufacturing, operations, and ecosystem) aim to use AI to reconstruct the entire process, including R&D, production, and services, thereby paving the way for the widespread adoption of intelligent driving.

Moreover, Changan’s smart operations platform leverages AI-driven predictive analytics to optimize supply chains, reduce inventory costs, and enhance customer service through AI-powered assistance.

Changan’s ambitions extend beyond automobiles. The company has outlined a roadmap toward "three-dimensional mobility," including AI-powered humanoid robots by 2028 and plans for low-altitude flying vehicles. By integrating AI across land, air, and sea transportation, Changan aims to establish itself as a global digital mobility leader.

In terms of smart digital services, Changan will innovate with an "AI + Service" model to create a 24-hour all-weather service system. It plans to launch services such as AI Butler and one-click maintenance. The service channels will cover over 1,000 lines, reaching more than one million customers.

Meanwhile, Changan will collaborate with major AI, ICT companies, and IoT ecosystem firms, and partner with OPPO to create super-connected products and achieve a fully integrated smart digital ecosystem encompassing people, machines, vehicles, homes, and offices. It will also work with CATL to tackle next-generation battery technology.
