布朗大學槍擊2死9傷　臺博士生還原避難過程：關燈躲桌下2小時

美國常春藤盟校布朗大學（Brown University）13日下午發生校園槍擊案，造成2名學生身亡、9人受傷，嫌犯至今仍在逃。臺灣博士生簡江恆（Chiangheng Chien）受訪時提到，當時有3名學生和他一起在實驗室，在收到槍擊事件的簡訊之後，關燈並在桌子下方躲藏約2小時。

路透、美聯社、BBC等報導，事發地點位於布朗大學巴魯斯與霍利工程大樓，當時正值考試期間，槍手朝學生開槍之後逃離現場，警方連夜展開大規模搜捕行動，封鎖校園周邊街道。警方已釋出嫌犯影片協助追緝，根據當局說法，嫌犯是一名男子，可能戴着面具，已取得現場彈殼證物，但詳細資訊暫不公佈。

槍擊消息傳出後，校方立即要求學生就地避難。學生簡江恆向媒體表示，他與3名同學正在實驗室，但卻收到附近發生槍擊事件的通知簡訊，便在桌下躲藏約2小時，隨後警方到場把他們護送至室外；他也說，警方當時有進行搜身，在確認無嫌疑之後放行。

針對這起事件，總統川普在白宮表示，已聽取事件簡報。羅德島州長麥基（Daniel McKee）誓言要把槍手繩之以法，「我們會確保抓到給這麼多人帶來痛苦的人」。

根據統計數據顯示，美國今年已發生389起大規模槍擊案，其中至少6起發生在校園。
